After our heavy college and university work and all life threw at us, we managed to gather together in 2024 in the 2nd annual innovation event in Tehran, Innovate.
The event had many great speakers and panellists:
- Negin Daneshvar, entrepreneur & co-founder of Takhfifan
- Siavash Sufinezhad, visual artist & architectural designer
- Kamran Bagheri, one of the leading figures of innovation management in Iran
- Amirhossein Farzaneh, founder & pioneer of the sport luxury brand, Oxygen Group
- Ali Mansoor, with 8 years of experience in product management, working with Digikala, Alibaba, and Takhfifan
With each hosting sessions about intelligent marketing, art and architecture evolution in the tech age, the effect of AI beyond traditional uses, innovation, modern networking, and more!

Although having most of the knowledge before, from experiencing them firsthand, or just tips from people before us, attending the sessions gave us good insight on how the situation is, and how it is growing. The majority of the lectures revolved around new start-ups & founders.
There was also a brief period of networking with all the attendees, as we laughed and talked about our experiences over tea and coffee, we met interesting people along the way.
But it wasn’t over yet!
Before the end of the event, we had an amazing guest speaker, Kooshiar Azimian, serial entrepreneur and former Staff AI Engineer at Facebook.
Mr. Azimian is one of the people we adore and look up to. His work on AI models for protein synthesis is inspiring to us as a start-up in health & biotech. He talked about his history of how he passed through various problems and events that happened along the way of his work, projects, teams, & more; and we learned a lot about how to handle hardships and problems if they ever arise, and how to gather funding and grants, how to present and introduce our work to investors or people, and a lot of information on connections and communication in general. His podcasts were also eye-opening to every single member of the team.
“The best part of it (start-up journey) are the times when you don’t have money.”
– Kooshiar Azimian
